A Background Built on Excellence
Jesse studied Medicine at the prestigious University College London (UCL), earning a First Class Honours degree in Medical Sciences with Physiology, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He completed specialist ophthalmic training across respected hospitals in the West Midlands, before undertaking advanced Fellowship training in:

Clinical Practice and NHS Leadership
In his current role as Consultant Ophthalmologist and Cataract Surgery Lead at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, Jesse manages a high volume of patients requiring complex eye procedures. He is also a College Tutor, supporting the training and development of junior doctors and aspiring surgeons.
Jesse’s NHS practice reflects his commitment to accessible, high-quality care, while his private services offer enhanced flexibility, access, and continuity of care tailored to each patient’s individual goals.

Jesse’s passion for research has earned him national recognition. As a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham, his work focused on patients with ocular mucous membrane pemphigoid, a rare but sight-threatening condition. This research led to the awarding of the Bowman Club Prize, a significant achievement in the field of ophthalmology.
He remains an active contributor to peer-reviewed scientific journals and presents regularly at international ophthalmology conferences. His academic work helps ensure his patients benefit from the most current and effective treatments available.
