I want to express my sincere appreciation to Jesse Panthagani who carried out my Len’s replacement surgery. His professionalism skill and reassuring nature were exceptional from start to finish. Before the procedure he explained everything in away that was easy to understand and took the time to calm any worries I had. His confidence and gentle approach made me feel completely safe in his care. During the surgery he continued to reassure me checking I was comfortable and explaining each step. The whole experience was far easier than I imagined and the improvement in my vision had been life changing. I am incredibly grateful for his expertise and kindness he showed throughout. Jesse Panthagani was very calm and gentle with a friend of mine who recently had a double cataract operation. From the initial assessment, through surgery and follow up a week later the whole experience was smooth, informative at each stage and very professional. We initially met Mr Panthagani at Glendon Wood Hospital - all staff that attended to my friend were marvellous, caring and with a good sense of humour! The Optimax Clinic in Leicester was very professional, super clean and friendly and the surgery was completed in no time at all. The follow up appointment was back at Glendon and again Mr Panthagani was friendly and clear on instruction going forward. The only thing I would add is that as far as checking vision for driving - this (in my humble opinion) might have been better to do prior to checking the eyes as the bright light from the check took a little time to settle down from before concentrating on reading the letters for distance vision. However, in the shape of the whole experience it is just a minor point - that may or may not be useful. Thank you to all for such a wonderfully calm and informative and caring experience. I personally would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Panthagani, Glendon Wood and Optimax Leciester and using them myself if needed.

I went to see Jesse at Glendon Wood Ramsay Healthcare after a terrible experience at another clinic in Northampton. Without a shadow of a doubt he knows his stuff and to be fair i did alot of research to find the right consultant. I had already had laser eye surgery age 28 then at 50 I got subcapsular cateracts in both eyes very rapidly. I really wanted tri focal lenses because im a midwife and had to take my glasses on and off all the time which wasn't convenient for work. Jesse discussed my options and ultimately said I could have trifocal lenses. Because of my previous laser surgery I needed the toric lenses. He booked me in and I went to his surgery in Leicester for the procedure. I arrived at 8am, went into theatre at 08:10. I had surgery on both eyes and had left the building by 09:30. The results were instant. I used eye drops he gave me for the next few weeks. I have no issues with halos or driving at night. The follow up care was brilliant. I did have some clouding after about 8 weeks but I had already been told that would happen and I would need to go back for laser. This was a quick 10 min in his consulting room and part of the package I paid for. I went back to my optician for a check up and they were amazed at the results. My eye sight is now 100% perfect. I highly recommend Jesse Panthagani. He is amazing. Very friendly and approachable. He put me at ease and I was very confident in his skills. His secretary Monica was equally fantastic. Always there at the end of the phone if I had a question. Do not hesitate to book a consultation to see him at Glendon Wood. What an Amazing man. Thankyou very very much for improving my life.
