Why choose Professor Panthagani

After a lifetime of wearing glasses/contact lenses I now have 20:20 vision.........wow. Mr Panthagani is very amiable and you can't help but feel at ease with him. He's informative, explains everything clearly and what you can expect after cataract surgery. I felt apprehensive as I was having both eyes done at the same time, but in hindsight there was no need. The whole procedure was quick and painless. My experience with Mr Panthagani is a very positive one and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Delighted with the outcome of my surgery - new lens in each eye to correct vision and astigmatism. I was somewhat nervous but Mr Panthagani was thoughtful and considerate from initial assessment through surgery to the review of the surgery which has been very successful. I can see better than I ever have, I think! The staff at Optimax were also excellent. Thank you.

I went to see Jesse at Glendon Wood Ramsay Healthcare after a terrible experience at another clinic in Northampton. Without a shadow of a doubt he knows his stuff and to be fair i did alot of research to find the right consultant. I had already had laser eye surgery age 28 then at 50 I got subcapsular cateracts in both eyes very rapidly. I really wanted tri focal lenses because im a midwife and had to take my glasses on and off all the time which wasn't convenient for work. Jesse discussed my options and ultimately said I could have trifocal lenses. Because of my previous laser surgery I needed the toric lenses. He booked me in and I went to his surgery in Leicester for the procedure. I arrived at 8am, went into theatre at 08:10. I had surgery on both eyes and had left the building by 09:30. The results were instant. I used eye drops he gave me for the next few weeks. I have no issues with halos or driving at night. The follow up care was brilliant. I did have some clouding after about 8 weeks but I had already been told that would happen and I would need to go back for laser. This was a quick 10 min in his consulting room and part of the package I paid for. I went back to my optician for a check up and they were amazed at the results. My eye sight is now 100% perfect. I highly recommend Jesse Panthagani. He is amazing. Very friendly and approachable. He put me at ease and I was very confident in his skills. His secretary Monica was equally fantastic. Always there at the end of the phone if I had a question. Do not hesitate to book a consultation to see him at Glendon Wood. What an Amazing man. Thankyou very very much for improving my life.
